Named after one of our favorite characters from a childhood book about a young woman left alone on a deserted island for several years, Karana is as creative and intelligent as that character. She is one of two second generation dams, born to the original couple: Loki and Fera.

This gorgeous, all black, wavy haired dynamo is as athletic and energetic as they come. He performs almost any trick you can ask for, usually at lightning speed. Bowie came to us directly from Lisbon, from a breeder with a long history with these amazing dogs.

Our seven year-old grandpa was the OG - the first PWD we adopted and the reason we first fell in love with the breed. He continues to charm and is an affectionate and tireless companion, though his favorite game by far is fetch.

Our first dam/mom was Fera. This means beast in Portuguese but it was probably not the best name to give the most playful and cuddle crazy dog in the universe.

Liberta ia a shy, playful dog that wants nothing more than to see world peace and a massive game of fetch. Why can’t the world be that simple?

Kiwi is fresh off of her first litter where she proved to be an extraordinarily good mom whose pups got plenty to eat and all the attention they could possibly want. She is taking a much deserved break and will not be scheduled for another litter until sometime in 2025.

Pepper is also one of of our new moms, daughter to Loki and Fera, we have known her from brith. She is exceptionally smart and did a terrific job with her own first litter - almost at he same time as Kiwi’s. She too is taking some time to recover and refresh and will not be back to raising puppies until sometime next year.
